Why Most Aesthetic Training Doesn't Stick

Twenty students in a room, one demonstration, a certificate on day two, and then silence. You go home, face your first real client, and discover that the questions that actually matter only surface when you’re working alone.

We run this differently. Classes are small — four students in permanent makeup, four to ten in injector training. And every programme includes structured support after the course: three months for PMU, three to nine months of mentorship for injectors. That’s the window where the learning actually happens.

What We Teach

Injectable treatments cover more than wrinkle relaxers and lip filler. At Geneva Med Spa in Frisco, TX, we work with neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid fillers, collagen stimulators, threads, and regenerative therapies — chosen for what your face actually needs rather than what’s trending.

Learn From Tatiana Vostrikov, LVN

Master Nurse Injector and Certified Aesthetic Medicine Practitioner with over twenty years in aesthetic medicine — more than 25 certifications in permanent makeup and 20 in medical aesthetics.

Tatiana trains and mentors professionals across North America and internationally, speaks at global conferences, and sits on the jury of international PMU championships. She founded Geneva Aesthetic Academy alongside her working clinic in Frisco, which matters more than it sounds: you’re learning current practice from someone whose hands are in the work daily, not a curriculum written years ago.

Everything you’re wondering about training with us, answered.

Do I need experience to enrol?

For permanent makeup, no — the two-day core courses are built for beginners as well as working artists. For injector training, you must hold an appropriate healthcare licence; that’s a legal requirement, not a preference.

Can I practise professionally after training?

Course completion gives you a certificate, not a licence. Texas requires separate licensing for permanent makeup, and injector training doesn’t expand the scope of practice your existing licence already allows. We’ll explain what applies to your situation.

Do I work on live models?

Yes in injector training, across both days. In permanent makeup, where eligible — subject to meeting the applicable training, bloodborne-pathogen, licensing, and facility requirements.

What support is there after the course?

Permanent makeup includes three months of post-training support and a virtual follow-up. Injector programmes include three, six, or nine months of structured mentorship with monthly sessions and case review, depending on the format you choose.

How are dates scheduled?

Training dates are coordinated around instructor and participant availability. Because groups are small, dates fill in advance — get in touch early for the schedule.

Is financing available?

For permanent makeup courses, financing may be available through Cherry or CareCredit, subject to approval. We don’t offer an internal payment plan. Full terms are provided before registration.
