Dr. Christopher Hughes

Dr. Christopher hughes is board-certified in Internal Medicine and enjoys identifying and treating a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, while always focusing on the prevention of disease on an individual and personalized basis.  Dr. Hughes obtained his medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX, and completed residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He graduated from medical school in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  Dr. Hughes has been practicing medicine for over a decade and previously served on the Executive Committee of a thriving medical practice for several years. He also previously served for 2 years as assistant clinical director of Health Texas Provider Network’s clinical laboratory.  He emphasizes the promotion and balance of both longevity and quality of life.  Dr. Hughes and his wife have 2 sons.  As an outside interest, he actively researches ancient near eastern archaeology, history, and culture.  When he really wants to cut loose, he enjoys playing science fiction-based video games with his children.
